About Envita’s Owner and CEO

Dino Prato, Owner & CEO

Dino Prato spent one year in traditional medical school before he decided to leave.  Too many questions were not answered to his satisfaction.  He described himself as, “the annoying guy in the back who kept raising his hand and challenging the professor.”  Dino left traditional medical school and pursued his naturopathic medical degree to answer his own questions.  Dino trained with some of the leaders in the international natural medical community- including specialists from Germany, Bavaria, India, and China.  He devoured the opportunity to learn classical homeopathy, cancer care, detoxification, advanced ozone therapies, microscopy, and more, from the best.  What he learned from these specialists changed his life and his outlook on medicine.

After completing a four-year accredited doctoral program, Dino graduated with his naturopathic medical degree.  Although he’s not currently engaged in the clinical practice of medicine, Dino is a licensed naturopathic medical doctor in Vermont and Hawaii.  A born entrepreneur, he began Envita Medical Centers of America® in Scottsdale, Arizona, soon after he graduated.  After watching a close family member die of colon cancer, he knew his vision for his company.  His aunt’s colon cancer had metastasized throughout her body.  He watched as traditional medicine could do nothing for her.  He watched as she traveled to Mexico in a desperate attempt to find an alternative.

Dino believed that the sick and dying should not have to travel around the world to obtain the best natural medical treatments.  He decided to search out and bring the most effective and cutting-edge treatments from around the world here to the United States, and house them under one roof.  Dino took the best of what he learned during his training with international natural medical specialists to build an extensive and impressive array of treatments.  And now the world of naturopathic medical specialists is watching and learning from him.  Where the treatments were weak and failed to help patients, Dino began working with laboratories to come up with the solutions.  He hired a director of laboratory sciences to help begin work on developing new therapies and treatments.  In so doing, he began pioneering a new area of medicine.

Envita grew fast and furiously.  People were looking for – demanding – advanced natural treatments, but there were not a lot of facilities that were meeting this demand.  The speed of Envita’s growth surprised even its founder, who is a fervent and ardent believer in this medicine.  What started as a one-room operation with a small and modest staff quickly grew to a 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with a staff of doctors and medical professionals from a range of disciplinary backgrounds.

Dino turned 34 years old this year.  It’s a good thing he’s so young because he has a lot he still wants to accomplish.  Dino is best described by those who know him as a visionary.  He is never satisfied with what could be.  His vision is clear and straight to the point: He wants to find the best medicines to heal the sick, and he dedicates every day to doing it.  While he’s not the author of this blog, by reading it, you will begin to get just a small idea of the obstacles he has overcome to keep his vision alive.  Dino often says that whenever he feels like giving up, all he has to do is think of the many lives that have been saved, and he finds the strength to keep on going.
